It’s one thing that does unite the blue and red of Liverpool and thats the treatment of the city and area by successive British governments over the years. From a sporting look at it, the “Two Tribes” BT sports documentary is quite good when it talks about the rivalry of the clubs at the peak of English football when the city was at its lowest ebb.
Peter Reid is blabbering on with usual Liverpudlian victim stuff. These yobs booed the Duke of Cambridge, the future King of England. Then they booed God Save the Queen.
Coach Klopp should be condemning this sort of loutishness. Instead he’s playing to the gallery and cheerleading it.
This is just yobs (no doubt pissed on cheap beer) engaging in loutish behaviour. They should have the book thrown at them and get hauled down to the local Magistrates to be prosecuted for public order offences.
