Coach Klopp - dream maker

I thought it was because they were murderers and rob and piss on their own supporters?

falls under lack of grace and humility.

But it’s great to be Scouse every day, so no change there

Scouse -Irish.

By the grace of God.

:astonished:

I thought we were besties?

Hard not to like kloop. Some mistake by man United in not going for him.

Pochettino let us down? He’s performing miracles for us.

He’s performing miracles by not winning trophies with one of the most expensively assembled squads in European football.

Huh? Spurs fielded a starting XI that cost £106 million to assemble in the European Cup on Saturday night. Pochettino has had a net spend of £27 million in his 5 years at the helm.

Maybe you should be focusing on why the standard bearers of your beloved Mickey Mouse Serie A, Juventus spent on one single player, a 34 year old veteran as much as that entire Spurs starting XI and still managed to get knocked out by a crowd of callow kids from the Dutch League.

Not many teams in Europe have a £42m centre half sitting on the bench.

Meanwhile, Juventus – Italian champions and European royalty – are pursuing Maurizio Sarri, derided as an oddball and a failure in England despite winning the Europa League, while Real openly pursued the potless Mauricio Pochettino because they recognised the phenomenal job he had done in establishing Tottenham among the top 20 clubs in Europe. They all know that thriving in English football cannot be measured solely in trophies.

You need to open that mind a wee bit and move with the times. Proper managers don’t worry themselves with meaningless junior level cups anymore.

Huh?

Sarri is a winner now.

You’re missing the point. This year really has you rattled.

I’m not missing the point. Juve and Real aren’t appointing losers as their managers.

Steady on. He’s won the Joe McDonagh/Tommy Murphy Cup of club soccer.

He’s a more successful manager than Poch and he’s a guy who has probably spent more time working in the banking sector than football management.

It’s a Mickey Mouse competition. Chelsea got to a semi final without having to face a side from any of the 8th highest ranked leagues in the UEFA Coefficient Table. Against the side that finished 7th in the Bundesliga, they had to rely on the lottery of penalties after a drawn semi final for their place in the final. Then it was 5th in the EPL Woolwich in the final. What an embarrassment for the 8th richest club in the world to be slumming it out against the likes of BATE Borisov and MOL Vidi.

Chelsea won the competition unbeaten. Spuds lost 5 matches in their CL campaign. Poch is a born loser.
