Liverpool were a mess when klopp took over as well. He didn’t take over a solid top four side. He’s spent money but spent it wisely. Almost all of his signings have worked out. It’s also rarely mentioned but his selling of players has been brilliant. The countinho business was brilliant.

Since Klopp arrived Man City spend on average of 110m per year on transfers.
Liverpool spend 28m on average.
City, Man United, Chelsea, Arsenal, Everton and Bournemouth have spent more than Klopp.

Selling players is half the value nowadays. Inter won a CL of the back of selling zatlan for a totally inflated price. Kloppo done the exact same thing to Barcelona again and rebuilt his team. I actually reckon if they got silly money for salah in the summer they’d sell. Bobby and Sane are on another level nowadays.

It’s about selling at the right moment and to the right team. Sell him to Madrid and they’d probably get him back on loan 6 months later.

City have spent 4 times as much as Klopp. Mid table clubs like Everton, Bournemouth and United have outspent Liverpool since Klopp arrived. Klopp won the Champions League but you want him sacked.
