Any real Liverpool fans have never wanted him to be sacked. He’s done a tremendous job. Liverpool hadn’t played Champions League knockout football since 2009 before his arrival. In his second full season he brought them to final. Liverpool needed an elite manager to be able to compete sustainably with the top teams.
