Actors Colin Farrell and Alicja Bachleda-Curus baptize baby son in Poland

WARSAW, Poland Irish-born actor Colin Farrell and his girlfriend, Polish actress Alicja Bachleda-Curus, have baptized their infant son in Poland.
The Fakt and Super Express newspapers ran photographs Wednesday showing the couple in the Church of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Krakow during the baptism ceremony of their son Henry Tadeusz Farrell, who was born Oct. 7.
The actress’s mother, Lidia Bachleda-Curus, confirmed to The Associated Press by phone that the baptism took place Tuesday afternoon but did not elaborate.
The manager of Krakow’s Floryan hotel told the AP the couple and relatives had a dinner of traditional Polish food at the exclusive hotel afterward. She spoke on condition of anonymity*.
*Eh…so much for the anonymity, previously in the report she’s been named as the manager of the hotel ffs. Probably get fired now.
I think she should have been left to choose the Christian name not just the child’s middle name, Henry is a shit name which calls to mind the bigamist king, while Tadeusz or Pan Tadeusz is the great, heroic Polish verse.
She’s not great looking by Polish standards. She is a media hero here cos she got knocked up by a Hollywood actor. Her family are loaded. I will be in Krakow town tonight having a few drinks so if I see Colin I shall be on around 3am to post on a celebrity spot.
I would say that the women of Krakow are a terrific bunch. It was hard to judge Gdansk or Olsztyn women as I was there in freezing temperatures and they were well covered up. I was in a shopping centre in Gdansk though and with the coats off they looked a grand bunch. The receptionists in the hotel were models aswell but you could find that the odd time in Ireland too, particularly in hotels where Eastern European women are employed. I must check out this Slovenia joint.
Seems to have tried to portray himself as a hellraiser in his early career, swearing in interviews all the time, probably to play off the Irish thing to get him a few gigs.
He wasn’t able for it obviously and checked into rehab - probably another stunt. Now he is gone back in again as a ‘pre-emptive measure’.
I’d say he is like most Irishmen of his vintage but he happened upon a career where he could indulge his vices to whatever level he wanted without consequence for a time. Then he had a kid. Had a wobble and I suppose in those social circles you can’t just have a bit less you have to stop.
You do seem to have an issue with drink tho, mate… As in people pulling you up for it or other people saying they have a problem with it like Cols above for example…you’re touchy about the subject.
To be honest mate I would probably like to drink less often than I do but I’m getting better with that. I suppose there was something about Farrell that I didn’t like back at the time and felt it seemed too forced to be a hell raiser.
