A space has come up near where i work and it could be an ideal spot to get a small bit bigger with a few others to form a multi disciplinary team.
Anyway i want to know what to look out for. The terms on the ad are negotiable. So i want to be as aware as possible of any pitfalls. I have a loose agreement at the moment and i have some insight into how landlords can act the cunt.
We don’t have to move, but this could be a good opportunity.
All depends on how badly your man wants to rent the place.
If you can, put in a one sided break that you can call after a year if it isn’t working out.
The important things to cover are who pays for the upkeep, bills like rates, insurance etc.who pays for any renovations to be carried out (if required). If you are improving the unit then you need to get compensated for same.
In general it’s all fairly standard stuff.
Also get similar agreements in place with the lads you are going to be either working with or sub letting some space to. You don’t want to be left footing the bill if one of them makes changes
