Twat should have just given ID.
If I was asked for ID Id be half tempted to walk away.
Wouldn’t bother me in the slightest no matter what age I looked. Just standard procedure.
You’re doing this just for an argument arent you? The guy was 72.
He shouldn’t have been asked but at the same time he was under legal obligation to produce ID if he was asked to prove his age.
Just show the bloody ID and save the hassle, I cannot believe the man is thick enough to bring it to the beeb!
They were right to ask him. Have you seen what those sunbeds do to people?

Couple of points Ben. Firstly he doesn’t have a legal obligation to produce ID - he’s well within his rights to walk away. And well within his rights to make a complaint. Secondly you’re assuming he was carrying ID. I’m 24 and I don’t carry ID.
And you got yourself in court because of it Clarkey.
Yeah sure Clarkey is 24 but easily looks 34

He was under obligation to produce ID if he wanted to get alcohol. I also never said that he didn’t have a right to complain, I just said that he was an eejit for complaining.
