This. His first reaction on hearing of the attack was to have a pop at Israel. Not hard to see him as a Hamas sympathiser in that light.

That’s how he’s always been. It’s why it’s very very hard to have any sympathy for him. What is being done to him now is pretty much what he has tried to do to many many others.

Ah I totally agree and I don’t have any sympathy for him.
I think there’s probably many examples of people saying or even doing far worse things who have received nothing like the blow back, and I think that’s evidence of a powerful lobby.
