i understand your point kev but surely caw-lan had signifigant losses as well here,
he definitly did not make any money from his time in ccfc, granted the club is wound up but surely some of his money went with it.

the whole LOI is one sorry mess to be honest, only a class A retard would invest in a professional football club in this country with the hope of making money.

are guys like caw-lan, ollie byrne, louis kilcloyne monsters who genuinely set out to destroy community football clubs or just deluded fools who had ambition and thought they could actually make a go of it.?

caw-lan is now fucked, ollie is dead, the only guy who succeeded in doing anything benifitial was kilcoyne when he sold glenmalure park for a few bob to build a few houses

the only lads i see to make a few bob from the LOI in recent times is Woodies in Tallaght.
offering a €10 voucher with every season ticket Shamrock sold last year was pure genius and has resulted in a net gain of €1000, mostly from the sale of Evo Stick and paint thinners.

its not the FAI’s fault Cork didnt get their license. He should be looking at his own club officials and owners and blaming them. sure how long is it known that this was going to happen.
