The Glen must really like their chances at another county in the near future if their main players stay fit. Theyāll continue to get better too with decent minor teams coming up. Some nice players in the Mon.
Not sure Iāve heard much of Mullinās indiscipline.
I do think the transfer is pretty pointless, as Whitechurch will be intermediate soon enough and Cork have had no issue choosing talented non-senior hurlers over the years (Cooper, Harnedy etc). Mullins also can show his wares in Fitzgibbon. Also itās strange his Father is a NaPiarsaigh legend and he fucks off to the Glen.
The Glen probably donāt see an issue as the weaker city clubs often get their second and third team players on transfer.
Ultimately it is a big win for the Glen as I suspect Mullins could be a big player for Cork in the coming years, size aside.
Limerick are starting 10 of their B team. Cork should be romping home.

Iām not sure if Mullins can play Fitz after this year as he is pursuing a trade.
Itās a pity overall but I can see why he chose it. He is competing with a lot of players in and around his age to break onto a starting 15 for Cork.
He is obviously a player with a lot of ambition. Iād be curious to learn how much of a role the Glen played in this in the months to come. There were murmurs a few years back about a Mullins move (not to the Glen) but nothing happened.
If Cork donāt win by 10 plus itās essentially a Limerick win tonight

Forgot about the fact that he is a ringer at fitz level.
All the same, I donāt think these transfers from junior to senior for āambitionā purposes are needed in Cork.
