Not a chance of an amazing between them for years

Today anyways

Has @Turenne revised his opinion on Corkā€™s selection this week yet?

Did they play as listed positionally?

Great to see Twomey/Roche played in their actual positions. Roche was excellent, hitting some form out of nowhere. Deserves to start the next day against Galway. Also thought COB was very good.

Will be interesting to see what our championship team looks like. A COB/RD/Joyce half-back line looks likely at this stage but Iā€™d worry about their lack of pace across the line.

Strong chance Connolly/Coleman/Harnedy will be on the bench. Possible one or both of ROF/Kingston donā€™t make the first 26.

Also think it is fair to say JOC has got enough chances. The potential is obvious but his ability to fluff even basic chances is astonishing.

I still think we are looking at a 15 very close to last yearā€™s AIF. In fact, Iā€™d still back the same 15 to start on April 20th. If any man is to come in, Iā€™d wager it will be Twomey. He would have been starting for the full year last year if not for his injury v Tipp. He gets on an unreal amount of ball.

Healy, Oā€™Brien and Mullins have put their hands up well. Millerick is in decent form. Oā€™Connell to me is perfect for an impact role off the bench in midfield but they seem to insist on him at half-back.

Iā€™d still be worried about our options up front after the first 6 and Healy. Power is a bit of a loss to our depth in the ff line. I would be shocked if both Kingston and ROF are not in the 26 tbh.

That game yesterday was a bit of a joke. A few Clare lads dusting off some cobwebs which will do them no harm. Duggan at 14 may be a very awkward problem for us in 6 weeks - if he does line up there. My guess is that Clare will rotate that position throughout the 70.

Iā€™d say there is a decent chance Coleman and Connolly donā€™t start, particularly if they arenā€™t back soon.

Will hopefully see a good few changes for the Galway game. Would rest Not sure how injuries are going but need to have a look at the likes of Kingston, ROF, Oā€™Connell, Joyce, Mullins and Healy on the first 15, for more game time. Would also like Cotter to get another start but itā€™s unlikely. Brian Roche has to be nailed on to start again, along with Twomey. Would rest Barrett, Fitzgibbon, NOL, Rob Downey, Hayes, Horgan and TOM.

Collins

SOD ED E. Roche

COB CJ Mullins

ET TOC

Healy SK B.Roche

ROF Horgan Cotter

Coleman, Connolly and Harnedy off the bench if they are back near fitness.

I know there were some comparisons drawn after the collar-up look TOC was sporting against Clare but is Tommy Oā€™Connell any relation to Mickey?

None
