Ciarán Sice got motm but I thought is midfield partner Joyce was very good. Centre back McGann and full back Sweeney were good under pressure. They were sting up the middle and tidy elsewhere.
Blackrock missed a fair few chances though
Footnote: KÓ’s second goal was a fluke, long ball in to the city end from the dressing rooms side and the keeper lost the flight of it and at first look i thought it was a square ball but he didn’t touch it. The last goal was class though, deft touch dinking it over the advancing keeper, you wouldn’t see it in the EPL
