Colaiste Chriost Ri down playing Senior D hurling.

Hardly news, Chroist Ri never bothered much with hurling

Nenagh three up, have some real classy players.

Midleton CBS forwards love running down cul de sacs.

Midleton and Charleville four down, A.G. three down.

Great game between Nenagh and Midleton ends in draw.

Had to put the kids to bed so I missed the last few minutes. Good effort tbf to get the draw but the running into turnovers from Midleton’s big name players was an issue. Ben Walsh was well minded.

Number 5 and 8 showed great leadership in the last ten minutes.

They will come on a lot from that. Centre back was outstanding

Games likely to be postponed today?

Anyway to watch the Senior A game online?

If the year the Barrs won the hurling went ahead, then there will be no fear of today getting called off.

Unless they get over cautious based on the flooding on the south link that year and call it early. Appears the worst of the storm went over cork last night

I remember that. Lakes of water on the pitch wasn’t there?

There was. Never forget the ordeal of driving down Monahan and Centre Park Road, took ages for traffic to get through, many doubling back due to fear the car would get bogged down. I opened my door at one point and the water was nearly over flowing in on top of me. How they played a game I don’t know.

A funny memory is seeing Donal Og Cusack in his spray on jeans struggling to hurdle puddles running back to his car.

Monahan road was known in the locality as the Boggy Road, that’s what I still call it
