Ah I’l wait til the 1 goes up of John saying the ref was to blame

I didn’t recognise the tune myself, he might do a rendition of it for the homecoming?

The Cork boys have a fair playlist

When Liam is done and dusted, all the Limericks, Carkies, even the Tippos here on TFK should meet up in Charleville for a right singsong

Was he singing or not? I saw a thing where he’s in the pub and the lads behind him are singing but I don’t see him singing along

Anyway it’s a stupid chant but like you hardly take offence to it??

I wouldnt be taking any offence but it’s fair silly and stupid stuff, if Limerick were at this kind of nonsense this place would be convulsing.

Look it’s Tuesday, Cork are deserved Munster champioms and Itr time to move on

I don’t think anybody cares about silly stuff said or sang on the terraces, it’s only a bit of fun, as a young lad I enjoyed the wings of a sparrow chant.

But some of you lads are making a big deal out of Ryan singing that song and I haven’t seen any evidence.

The lad who makes up new interpretations of everyday phrases but refuses to discuss them or offer any support is now going on about a lack of evidence.

Ah pal I wasnt sure up until now but u seem determined to carry it on with anybody you think will keep engaging with you on the matter. Is it to try rile lads or just deflection?
This was silly behaviour and not from young lads on the terrace. I’l humour you and say that in the videos I’v seen there’s no clear proof Pat was or wasn’t singing along. I hope he wasn’t as he seems like a total gent, has been through a lot and deserves serious respect.
He might advise a different choice of ditty going forward. Any other questions you ask directly on this matter or John’s speech I’l respectfully decline!

It’s harmless in plenty of ways but it just signifies the ruffian element creeping in to Cork GAA.

In the same pub that night one of the Cork players threw a drink over a Limerick young wan simply because she was wearing a Limerick jersey. Nasty stuff. Tho I’ve been informed the player in question isn’t the nicest of people.

That’s that then

He should come out with a statement to put the issue to bed. Cork gaa has enough on its hands with the ruffian element not to be needing the manager impugned also.

Harmless banter for sure. Im sure the lad in question was knocked off balance with his drink. Cork are free to carry themselves as they see fit and if this is the way so be it. I see our lads engaged in a poc fada in Ballybricken.
