Cork’s Munster Senior Hurling Championship victory 2025

Limerick’s championship record in Thurles vs Tipp is dreadful.

One win in 50 years when Tipp weren’t at the races at all.

I’m really not too worried about Limerick’s league results. I think the form was relatively good in the matches we tried a leg at and a lot of players’ individual form looked promising to me.

I’d agree with this. When they were interested they still looked the team to beat.

We drew with cork first day out. Cork took off towards the end of the league and limerick downed tools. I don’t think the form of either team towards the end of the league is in any way reflective of a difference in standard.

Limerick will almost certainly do that especially in Q3. It’s unlikely Tipp will go full court press, it’s not in this managements plan A or B.

What misfortunate Clare lad spent time working that out on excel?
Has it something to do with Covid?

I knew it would drive thelimericks mad

Cork by 5.
Tipp by 2 or possibly a draw.

Cork by four, Limerick by eight.

Anyone got a spreadsheet of Munster and All Ireland winners over that period of time?

@habanerocat is a Killkenny cunt. It breaks out in him every now and then

Forecast clearing up a bit now for the weekend. Drier weather albeit cool enough with temps between 11-16 degrees.

Neither a monsoon nor sweltering heat - we could be in bother.

You’re a barrel of laughs today.

Clare by 2 Limerick by 4

Yeah good one.

The Sean Treacy Pipe Band so much part of it

Of all the Pipe and Drum bands in the country playing at games, they are the best, by a distance.

When the drummer signals the start of Amhrán na bhFiann and everyone stands up, you’d nearly get a lump in your throat looking at that glorious tricolour and thinking of the men and women who gave their lives so that we might have days like this.

Up the Sean Treacy Pipe Band, Up the RA and Fuck Tipperary :ronnyroar:
