I think Clare and Galway will win one each in the next decade.
Tipp should win a minimum of 4 and probably 5.
Cork and Kilkenny will share the rest.

I think a lot of Corks games cannot be deemed correctly due to them playing on an Astro turf pitch with 90% home support. It’s not a credible form line on many occasions.

There are plenty of counties and managers that would take the current Cork squad in a heartbeat. They need a little bit more steel and a few tweaks in personel but they will still go into next year as favourites, and that says it all.

It’s all about the manner in which they get there if they get there again. If they are stuttering along then it will be slow to build but one emphatic win and the lid will pop off again

They actually had the exact player they need with Ben O’Connor but he’s with Munster. Agree re the Newtown lad in the half back line, very natural half back but a strong defender as well.
I wonder could we see Fitzgibbon as a roving corner forward with the good big lad Hayes and maybe Cunningham inside or the lad from Blackrock. Padraig Power will probably play if he can get himself right.
O’Mahony has played a good bit in the forwards for club and county at various times. Brilliant hurlers but it might be time to take him and Fitz out of the spine of the team as they haven’t carried the water on the biggest days.

If Hoggy wins one now there’ll have to be a 2 part Laochra Gael.
Both Limerick and Cork next year were either to win, would be particularly cherished All Irelands.
The cavalry might stop in the horse and jockey and get on the pints for a few years hopefully.
Tim O was bust up badly by Duggan down in Supervalu park the year before last when playing on the wing. He resorted to wild swings under puckouts that were not too close to the ball. Wing forward is his spot I think. He wilts very badly when things are going against him and will get sent off if left in MF.
I don’t know where the no fuss, hardworking, functional type hurlers are that Cork badly need around the middle. Can Joyce play at 3? Can he play at 8? He might be needed at 6 but they have nobody to play in those two spots.

I like the look of Cillian Tobin of bride rovers any time I see him. Has had bad injuries that have held him back.
