Cork - soft cunts, old money, new hunger

North Cork is booming, imagine when the motorway goes in

Great to hear that, I work with one of their club committee, serious work / community spirit in those parts

Fine village there now id say plenty blow ins living there

I was there last year as well and was impressed but they have load of work done since.

Those senior club games are far far better in these rural venues than in the city. It’s a big deal for the clubs too

Are Ballyhooly only junior? A lovely set up out there

Yeah junior hurling maybe junior b football. The wall is a bit annoying behind the goals but some set up in there alright

Saw this online. As well struck a 21 yard free I’ve ever seen

Great win for our lot, particularly without Joyce and Stack. Sounds like Mike Kelly had a massive game. Eases relegation fears massively.

And they’re booming mate. Motorway would help places like Charleville, Ballyhea, Newtown a lot. Easy commute for work into Cork.

Great the cork championships have begun all the same. They all can’t choke to each other

Cracking venue. Castletownroche and Ballyhooly 2 fine venues aswell.

IMOKILLY: E Davis (St Catherine’s); F O’Connell (St Catherine’s), E O’Riordan (St Catherine’s), C Martin (Castlemartyr); A Sherlock (Cloyne), C O’Brien (St Ita’s), J Casey (Youghal); J Murray (Youghal), M Kelly (Castlemartyr); W Leahy (Aghada), D Healy (Lisgoold), C Cahill (Cloyne); S O’Donoghue (St Catherine’s), C O’Callaghan (Dungourney), J Leahy (Dungourney).

Subs: D O’Brien (St Ita’s) for Leahy (44), L Duggan Murray (Russell Rovers) for Cahill (46), A Lynch (Cobh) for O’Donoghue (48), M McCarthy (Aghada) for Murray, M O’Dwyer (Russell Rovers) for Leahy (both 52).

Can’t see this group winning the championship.

Not contenders with that team.

Have Harnedy and Cooper thrown their hat at it!

Harnedy on the bench, no Cooper.

Good win for Seandun against Muskerry, but pathetic southside representation with one sole lad from Bishopstown and nobody from Nemo. Would Rochestown or Ballyphehane not have one or two hurlers or just football only?

Unfortunately they’ll get a right clipping from Imokilly next round.
