Cusack was held in high regard in Clare when involved and was with the cork under 20s this year.

Heard he was a bit of an ape on the sideline for them this year but the manager is the same so probably just the vibe they were going for. That cork 20s team probably performed as well as could be expected this year

No - players liked him and when D&G took over they had to keep him due to some ā€œagreementā€ Cusack had with the secretary/previous manager.

He stepped aside after the Tom Humphries controversy otherwise he would have been involved for a third year.

Cork would be idiots to rip up the script. Now is not the time for panic.

Tipperary are currently where Dublin football was in 2011 and Dublin only won one of the next three All Irelandā€™s so there is still a window of opportunity there for Cork to come in and nab one.

Starting from scratch and building for three or four years time, when Tipp will already be in their pomp is crazy stuff.
