Regarding the gambling side of it, did see this?
I didn’t…that’s mental!
We only happened upon it and parked up for 15 minutes to watched a “score” start off. All the talk and money was for that lad in the navy/blue “gil-lane” i think they were calling him. His technique was miles ahead of the other lad. A few lads shouting out the odds before each bowl.
Some auld lad obviously spotted the noobs “are ye following the score?”
“No just having a look”
“Jesus, stand into that gap so”
Ah there would be plenty fellas at it stone useless too…few of my buddies would do it and it would be as likely to go in over the ditch as down the road
Was in here twice, thought it was fairly overrated.
Always preferred Farmgate - where are they relocating to?

I had a short chat with Alan Connolly at the Liam Gallagher gig tonight, he was drinking water, I know his people so I wasn’t annoying him (hopefully) very nice fella
I’d say he’d bowl a daycent score
How was Liam?
He was alright, the songs were good, the crowd were up for it, good mix of ages etc
He had no interaction with the crowd and when he tried I hadn’t a clue what he was saying, he was a bit miffed when the ripple went around that Spain had gone ahead again.
6/10

He’s a moody enough sort.
Where would you get a second hand golf putter in Cork City, suitable for a six year old?
Asking for a friend obviously.
