Itâll go down to the wire, youâd think. Waterford the better side but I think they need another forward⌠Theyâre relying on potshots when they are on top.
The way they play makes it very hard for Waterford to put up a lead. Theyâll need another goal or two
Waterford had an opportunity in the middle of that half when the were on top to really go for it, but retreated back into their shells. Must be very frustrating for Waterford supporters, when you get on top you simply have to put the boot to the throat.
Interpretation. 
If I never have to suffer through another match involving a Derek McGrath trained team Iâll die a happy man.

Eh the scoreline is fine. Horgan missed a few sitters and Lehane missed a handy one by his standards (nevermind the fact that he was fouled) five minutes from the end.
Like most Cork people Iâd imagine.

Fair to say the all Ireland final was played last Sunday
Waterford have hit some terrible wides & itâs a pity as their Hurling has deserved more. System is working well defensively but youâd think an extra forward like Curran would do well today.
Cork still there though after losing momentum half through half. Lack of class replacements could scupper them but I think theyâll improve second half.
Draw looks a real possibility as things stand.
Waterford on top but not doing enough on the scoreboard. Ref will do all in his power to swing it to Cork in the second half.
Sky showed a replay I didnât see if the gleeson incident. It was 100% red card imo after seeing it again.
This will be very close.
Waterford will feel they should be more ahead than they are, but tactically they are winning for sure. The pressure is ramping up and up on the Cork puckout and Cork arenât liking it. Waterfordâs long balls are causing problems for the Cork backs too.
Corkâs midfield and half-forwards are going to have to step up in a big way as their full forward line are really being swallowed up. Harnedy has not been mapped. Theyâre going to have to find a different way to win from their previous matches.
At the other end you feel thereâs another goal in Waterford and more to come from Gleeson and Barron.
Shanahan could decide this match.
