Cork by 3-4 points comfortably. Aisake won’t do anything, but won’t need to as Pa Horgan runs rampage. B)
Waterford at 11/5 seems very big. Davy’s teams are generally shit at the start of the year but will have improved from the Clare game.
If they have to go looking for Deccy Prendergast to score three points from wing back again I’d say they’ll be in trouble anyway
Fancy us to do the business. Tipp game aside I am not bowled over by the Cork confidence, and we always play weel against them.
Reckon Liam Lawlor will handle Aisake ok, Honan is just as big but only half the hurler and he did ok. Pa Horgan faces the best corner back around that doesnt wear black and amber in Noel Connors and will have a tough day. Cadogan is only good for fouling, Brian Murphy and Sean Óg are not what they once were and Kelly and Mullane are flying… We will squeek it by 2 in a high scoring game.
Hopefull its a double, looking forward to the minors tomorrow night.
Honan was marked by Murphy for the vast majority of the match…and he has way more hurling that Aisake although Aisake is far more a threat in the air

Lawlor took Honan from about 15 minutes onwards.
aisake is great at getting the body in between man and ball…he could win so much off a dodgy fullback…
i’d like to see waterford win but i fear cork will win by at least 7 or 8 points…
think cork footballers (-8) v Cavan at evens is a tasty price too
We must have been watching different games…
Shane O’Neill is the best corner-back in the country (although I do like Noel Connors). Did you watch Cadogan’s performance against Tipp this year? Obviously not. He is not a natural full-back but he is extremely competitive and has plenty of hurling in him.
A couple of questions - going to the Minors tomorrow night, and whats up with Aidan Kearney?
Eoin Cadogan has loads of hurling in him, he won a Fitzgibbon cup as a half forward and didn’t look one bit out of place there
I can see Aisake destroying every full-back in the country, bar Noel Hickey. People are obssessed with his lack of hurling - the reality is that when he has the ball in his hand the fucker is practically unstoppable, ability or not, most of the time he is looking to run the ball into the net. If we isolate Aisake and Lawlor a few times then that will be the game right there.
I’d love to see Eoin Cadogan destroyed. Even if its by Eoin Kelly.
He is a natural wing or center back, but he is the kind of fellow you could put anywhere and he would do well. Just an out and out competitor, and destined to be a legend in Cork GAA.
Yeah, going to the minors ok… Didnt make it down to Cork last week so looking forward to seeing both teams. I heard WD were lukcy enough to get out of the pairc last week and will need to improve, but Martin O’Neill, Paudie Pender and Jake Dillon are probably better than they were last week and should be a good game.
Kearney was sick before the Clare game and just didint make the 15 as there were 7 backs in better form (6 + Dec Pender). He is a contender to start this week though.

David Breen, an average forward, had him in his pocket. Brian Hogan made a fool of him in Nowlan park in the league. Cop on.
I hope he doesn’t start, he would significantly improve that Waterford defence.
Do me a favour and keep an eye on some of the Cork lads tomorrow night? Tell me how they did etc - specifically Darren Sweetnam , Brian Hartnett and Damien Cahalane.
Nobody gave a fuck about the Limerick game though, and Aisake has yet to play in Nowlan Park. I doubt he would do anything against the KK defence mind.
You’d better do that now HangBlaa, bring your notebook for your internet friend and keep tabs on the Cork boys there.
Who the fuck are you btw?
