Agreed they should increase tds wages to try and attract a better caliber of person.
Nice idea that youāve lifted from Twitter there but would there not be a worry that this will give a licence to perfectly functioning employers to cut pay as well? Also if we cut pay for politicians in solidarity with the private sector then surely weād have to cut other areas of the public service too?
I imagine that itās on its way anyway but might not be as good for labour as you think.

Dairy farmers would earn more than most. The shop people seem to have been forgotten about. Theyāve been unbelievable. Iād sooner given them 350 euro extra than some of people whoāve received it.

You do realise in many countries around the world theyāve lessened lock down restrictions? Iām not sure what planet you on. I didnāt look for any horse racing to take place. Youāve had a bizarre outburst. Iāve my opinion. Thereāll come a point in the next ten to fourteen days whereāll have to make a decision on lock down. My fear is if we stay in lock down itāll be much worse than slowly returning to normal. As we are seeing things are heating up in Italy and there are fears for New York too. Social unrest is far more dangerous in my opinion. Itās very sad people dying but people die every day itās a part of life. Itās a huge call but Itāll have to be made at point not too far away.
