Heard about a cluster in a creche in Meath, don’t know if this is common knowledge or not but they were a long time waiting to be tested
I heard this wasnt true.
Countries that have prior experience of pandemics use masks. I wouldn’t be waiting on my mates wife, who coincidentally enough happens to be a specialist in infectious diseases too, to tell me that masks are a good idea.
Sounds true, just looked it up
Sure, if you wanna believe the Irish Times
Are the Irish going to do this?
A fucking toddler with underlying conditions not tested for over a week. Disgrace
I’ve been wearing a mask going to shops etc. since March, long before it was recommended let alone mandated. How long have you been wearing a mask yourself?
If you had bothered to read the post, or understand it, the interesting thing is standard masks work in certain situations and are fairly useless in others, there’s also the danger of thinking they are more protective than they are. There is absolutely no way a rag tied around your face will protect you if you encounter a high viral load, that’s the point she was making.
A cotton rag only catches about 20% of virus sized particles, a surgical mask about 60% and an N-95 mask over 90%. Assuming they are installed correctly.
I tried and tried and tried to explain all this but the bed crew dont want to know —
That’s an issue I have. They is absolutely no standard required, like it could be full of holes or made from wet tissue, but you are still required by law to wear one everywhere.
NZ in trouble
13 cases
There’ll be lads nearly pulling themselves off when they see that.
“ Ms Ardern said it was a positive sign that all 13 new community cases were linked back to one infected family, either via work or broader family connections, and that all were being transferred into quarantine facilities”
That sounds a bit dystopian
That’s very weird
As we’ve seen here, dystopian measures are needed to stop a few getting the flu
She’s cancelling elections and all sure
The greatest trick the devil ever pulled, was making you think she was a nice decent person.
NZ sounds like a hell hole
its going from bad to worse for lockdown Mike
A single state island nation 20,000 miles away from civilisation and they still can’t control it
