I dunno where lads are going but Iāve been in 4 counties and multiple establishments and never been even remotely hindered
But it was the same during lockdown, lads were moaning about pubs being closed and I could have gone to about 3 speakeasy places within 10 miles and Iām quite remote.
Some lads arenāt happy unless theyāre miserable

I can see them getting vaccinated now so they can get outraged about not being asked to produce their card.

With respect mate, this isnt about pubs.
I was in a restaurant yesterday, same as, no hassle.
The bigger problem is where does the vaxx passport thing end?
Whats your view on it?
I donāt have āpapersā.
Iāve never needed āpapersā
Iāll never need āpapersā
I donāt give two fucks either way.
Iāll get vaccinated because it suits me.
Thereās a pile of money to be made on the black market if they close up shop

Nah, the vast majority will go along with it and get vaxxed. More power to them and you.
Sure what difference does it make ?

What are you afraid of?
Nothing.
Its a point of principle for me.
Weāve a vaccine that isnt even approved yet.The manufacturers admit it doesnt even stop transmission of the virus.
That in itself throws the vaxx pass under the bus.
Weāre 18 months into this and I havent had so much as a sniffle. My immune system is good.
Iām going to rely on that and not take the jab just because the government says I should.
The vaccine either works or it doesmt.if you have it and yours have it, surely that covers ye.
Whats your problem?
There you go, case closed. You can move on now.
None at allā¦ youāre asking us where we think the vaxx papers endā¦ Iām just wondering what you think is coming down the road.

Youāre dead right. It would be a lot easier to just take the jab etc. But whats going on is wrong and I wonāt do it.

For me personally, Iām looking at it from an extremely negative viewpoint, but, if mandatory vaxxs become a national thing, I am out of work.
It is a worry, I wonāt lie.
The bill/ precedent that they put through the Dail, Seanad and Michael D is fucking worrying.
Regardless of what anyone thinks of Covid. A lot of people donāt see past that infringement on peoples rights.
@cheasty , what affect in terms of deaths has this ādeltaā variant had so far?
Have you compared the deaths to last July when there was no vaccines? Given both ourselves and the Brits are what nearly 70% fully vaxxed now is there a significant difference during the month.
Just wondering.
Excellent news
Hopefully something similar will happen here.
