Cost of building

Iā€™m sorry, even thinking that J.P wouldnā€™t push for a New Motorway to Cork was very silly of me.

Anyone have any idea on how much the block work on a 1400 square feet house would cost? Getting quotes of 1.35 a block. Would that be a bit dear?

What part of the country are you in Perez?

Youā€™re being rode up the shitter.

1.20 a blockā€¦ 1.25 in some areas.

How many blocks are we talking?

This.

And are you paying cash or through the books?

A Euro for cash buddy. There hasnā€™t been more than a dozen lads trained in the country last ten years. They are very scarce along with plasterers and they know it.

Are you talking baby feet? You couldnā€™t live in a house that small.

1:30-1:50 at the moment. Make sure that includes filling the chimney etc.

Square foot so. About 6000 blocks.

Iā€™m in cork. Iā€™m paying half in cash. Half by the books.

Careful what your saying on here, mate. Someone got done by revenue for mentioning cash on here,

Anyone any idea what kind of dough electrical work is costing these days.
I know a lad who wants to get a bungalow rewired with a new 40sqm extension and is paying cash.

Would the electrician stand over the work for q cash job

Iā€™m not sure I understand? Is it that he couldnā€™t certify if paid cash?

Getting it certified is the problem.

New build is 10-15k depending on size, first and second fix.

He might do. But that creates a paper trail

How much of that is Labour?

Couldnā€™t tell you.

This is good value so.
