To answer your question @Perez2017, €4,500 seems a bit saucy for an Engineer. Don’t know what benifits of doing BCAR are if you don’t need to, (as long as you have a good builder that you can trust) and I doubt there will be much structural works in a standard bungalow. If you have no clue re building then an Architect would be a good idea for planning and room layouts to make the best use of the space. The €4,500 would be better spent there
