I’m nominating Ruth dudley edwards regardless.
I today’s independent she claims that “the only people I know who go on about the british empire are ignorant Irish nationalists and anti-colonial activists”.
She also bemoans that a “left wing educational establishment” taught the English to “despise an imperial past”. She goes on to observe that the british empire “IS probably the least-worst empire ever”
With remarkable confidence she goes on to say that because “she is no fan of empire” she concluded that the UK would be better off out of Europe.
She’s the sort of West-brit lickspittle that manages to sicken the English more than the Irish. She’d be a great wife for @Tassotti
