Crocodile bites off vet's arm

This is the dramatic scene at a Taiwan zoo, where a crocodile has just ripped a vet’s arm off. Zookeepers fire bullets close to the crocodile in an attempt to make it release the limb, which it still holds in its teeth.

The 200kg man-eating croc is seen with Chang’s forearm in its mouth.

The limb is released when the zookeeper’s bullets startle the creature.

You gotta hand it to the croc. Saw the opportunity and took his chance.

It’s weird cause 'e looks fairly 'armless in the second picture.

I heard he was a right fook to work with too.

All his colleagues were delighted to see him in agony but had to pretend to be upset.

Many of them shed crocodile tears.
