It’s a good header for the second goal but the other two are fairly standard are they not? I do think he’s underrated or under-appreciated though.
The first one was a real poacher’s finish - almost Rush-esque
The third goal was the best. The little shimmy away from Toure, then the touch out of his feet before the wallop with his left past Lehmann - Superb
Thought it was an excellent hattrick myself. Third goal was sheer class. 9 goals and 6 assists in 27 games (plenty of substitute appearances) in the Premiership is good going. A far superior player to Kuyt imo.
I’ve long agreed that Crouch is a decent player alright. I’d say he’s both Liverpool’s and England’s best striker for maybe two years now. Just wasn’t that blown away by the particular hat trick.
