I said it before but this lad takes the biscuit for charging his canvassers a fiver into his celebration party when he was first elected.
He was giving out about some FF figures being open to a coalition with SF and threw this little nugget in.
I would ask if the interviewer challenged him on this, but I note it was published in the Irish Independent.

Mate, I know for a 100% fact that the bash to celebrate PODās election cost 5e to enter for the people that canvassed for him, perhaps this veteran had some sort of thank you bash at the same time but my in laws were there and I got the report within hours.
