God help you if you hit a pothole at 45kph.
It has five levels of assistance. Level 3 was fast enough for me.
What does it power, the wheel or the pedal crank?
If cranks power bikes it’s no wonder Fagan is such a keen cyclist.

It has a pedal assist and a separate throttle if you don’t want to peddle.

Pal got it for 1300 on a US site about a year ago. Used address service and then paid 400 tax on it.
It’s not road legal here alright. It’s as fast as a car to commute on he said. Faster if there is any traffic.

Bikes seem to have gone very expensive; e.g the last time I got a Bike to Work bicycle, a Giant Revolt, it was €950 (July 2017). Now it is over €2,000 for the updated model. Please explain @Little_Lord_Fauntleroy.
there is a shortage of bikes, stock really hard to get
thankfully the Greens have introduced a new scheme which means that refurbished preloved bikes can be bought at a good price
