Cycle, crash, cycle, crash, cycle thread

I hope Pog wins but I feel MSR will always be the one that’ll he’ll need a lot of things to go his way for him to win it.

They reckon his team might try to blow it up on the Turchino which is way before they hit the coast. It’s a bad day and he doesn’t mind rain. If it comes down to the Poggio I don’t think he’ll win either. Pidcock will descend like a lunatic.

Game on Ger

Pog and Vanderpoel away on the Cipressa

Ganna back on. Down to the three with a long way still to go.

Ah this is fantastic, Pog and MVdP slugfest on the Poggio.

What a race. MvDP was just too strong otherwise Pogacar might have done it.

That was a classic bike race. Pog maybe a bit naive in the end, but he was probably never going to out sprint Vd with the legs VdP had today. Some performance from Ganna to get 2nd.

Brilliant race. Some ride by Ganna down the Poggio to get back on. Pogaczar blew the sprint.

Pogacar was cooked I’d say, his positioning for the sprint was poor but he was never going to beat those 2 in a sprint anyway. He’ll have a good few years left in him to give it a crack, I’d love to see him win one sooner rather than later as that would leave Paris Roubaix left for him to put all his classic focus on.

He tried to drop VDP about four times on the Poggio but it wasn’t hard enough.

A few crashes during the week

The big one today: Tour of Flanders. Pogaczar vs Van Der Poel

Game on Ger.
Big boys attacking

He left it late today

Lance labelling him the GOAT after today. The overhead shot as he dropped the hammer and gapped them all and especially MvDP was unreal.

Harry the dog cleaned up

Stage win for Ben Healy in the Basque tour today. Two for Sam Bennett in France this week
