If you’re getting a saddle bag for the bike for your repair stuff, it’s no harm leaving a fiver or tenner in it , if you ever get stuck and need to stop at a shop that won’t take contactless off the phone

I find Bruyneel hard to stomach. At the same time he has a point on the hypocrisy. I suppose it’s the lack of contrition on his part that means there is no way back for him. Same with Lance. Part of me admires it.

Not sure if you have read this article by Jani Brajkovic? An old article but a good one. I cannot think of another sport that has such a high percentage of its elite participants with mental health challenges. Perhaps boxing.

I was driving home today from my cycle ironically enough when I happened upon a lad in fill roadie kit etc cycling down the white line in the middle of the road.
He was about to go down a hill so I didn’t pass, but he seemed to slow intentionally and drifted even further out so he was actually on the other side of the road. He then moved back to just on his side, so I overtook him completely safely and under the speed limit ( I was in the Adonis so not much choice about speed limit) ,and was met with a full battery of wanker signs from said hipster type. I considered stopping the car briefly, but though fuck it, and carried on my way.
What is it with basic manners with these people
Whatever you’re doing, if you’re holding people up, you just move in a little and let them by, not pull across and block them.
Cunt.

I agree, but what’s an Adonis?

It’s the vintage gold colored Merc that flatty drives when the wife takes the Range Rover

Or when he’s not on the super bike

This is the same guy as the anti-diesel protester?

Shhh

Doesn’t sound like the type of car you’d put a bicycle rack on the back. But fair enough.

He lets the top down and throws the bike on the back seat.

It’s petarol mate

I have a seasucker
In any case, it fits in the boot.

Looks like a class bit of gear. Never saw one.

Mighty. I’ve done ninety mph with two bikes on the roof not a bother. I’ve had it for nigh on 5 years I’d say, and it still works a treat. I got the two bike one.
I’d put up a photo but I darent

Sounds great. Never heard of them before. Most bike racks are cunts of things, so I usually just throw the bike in the boot.

I’ve a Thule two bike job, but I’ve a hitch on the car so it’s a very neat job
