Dangerous Dogs

Some rescues have been abused. You’re bringing in an animal with issues. Your a responsible owner who can manage it and knows your dog’s limitations. If only more were like you.

My poor auld Jack Russell that was killed was very bad with strange men. I was very worried I’d have to get rid of her when the children arrived, but she was unreal with them. Really gentle and careful with them. I couldn’t get over it.

He’s a dog-lover and has owned many different breeds down the years, including German Shepherds. He was always keen on the staffies and pitbulls.

Another pal bred Akitas and Rottweilers. He was, without question, the best dog handler I’ve ever seen.

He was a pup from a litter where the mother, a Jack Russell, got a lot of (dogs) abuse.

Dexter is the Frank McCourt of the dog world.

My fella doesn’t like strange men either, or electric scooters, or the postman, not mad about adults on bikes, hates the lawnmower,
But she’s a beaut, we have two dogs and when the girls bring friends home they’d often ask to play with the dogs, for me it’d be awful if I didn’t feel I could completely trust them around kids, though we’d be watchful

it’s the kids I wouldn’t trust. Some kids don’t know how to behave around dogs. Fast movement and pulling and tearing etc. hands and face near the mouth. Better off just leaving the dog outside. I love the dog and if he bit he’d be gone. remove the risk

She knows I’m talking about her

We’d love to get a dog but we live in a built up area and have a very small garden. I don’t think it’s fair to confine the dog like that unless you can provide the exercise requirements that they need. Given our family circumstances and the associated workload I don’t think we could offer that.

Any dog we had when we were growing up lived outside and would be let inside on the rare occasion. My auld fella wouldn’t generally tolerate it. I used to think that he was harsh but know now that the dog needed to know his place in the pack. Most of them were impeccably behaved and brilliant with kids apart from a Cocker Spaniel who was a lot less patient with the kids.

I’d love to get a Malinois but I’m going to wait until I’m retired so I can put the time in with it

Don’t wait until you’re too old lad. They are a handful. Bursting with energy, huge drive and willing to learn. They bore easily and it’s a recipe for disaster.

I hope to be retired plenty soon enough

 fair play if that’s the case. They are a fab dog. Def a one man dog.

Hopefully the fucker does time, but Guards should have done something about the initial incident.

Hopefully he does do time but has anyone ever done time for something like this in Ireland? Is muzzling these fucking dogs and keeping them on a leash not just one of those “laws” in Ireland that everyone just ignores so he’ll just walk?

Dangerous dogs don’t exist without dickhead owners.

End of. Dogs are not born dangerous regardless of the breed once they’re properly trained.

I’m sure Art could speculate a bit better but I’d say they’d be looking more at trying to get him for non-fatal offences than dog laws. To recklessly cause serious harm I’d suggest, carries a sentence of up to life imprisonment.

So you are saying they are born dangerous

Same as humans, id say.

They’re not born dangerous at all.

Hopefully you’re right, a precedent should be set with this cunt.
