Liam Dunne brought a load of these lads through at u16, minor and senior. And they’ll tell you he has had a massively positive influence on getting them to where they are now.
So fucking there. He has his flaws for sure but he’s done the county some service.

Imitation is the greatest form of flattery I suppose. Rucks and spare arm tackling were the staple of the GTOAT. We’re getting there but we’ve a way to go still to be fair.
Teams are now introducing choke-tackling as part of their defensive system. Luckliy the refs called it correct but the constant faux-outrage reactions of the perps will mean that refs begin to be influenced to award frees the other way.
I’m expecting managers to start use terms like “scoreboard separation” soon as the hurling championship descends even further into farce.

Genius management by Davy with the 4-week gap to the semi final to allow the players to go buck ape and authorise a homecoming party in Innovate Wexford Park tonight. Gives a perception to outsiders that our journey is over and we’re happy with our lot, even though we’ll be back at it on Friday night. We’ll be underestimated again in the semi-final, but there’s an All Ireland for us to win.
Davy’s job is done, so it is. No more he can do.
