Davy Fitz- a thread for the non-believers

Conor Whelan will make a lovely halfback.

Yesssssssssssssssssssss!

This is a God send for Davy. If he were to ditch Wexford for Galway thereā€™d be unreal pressure on him, so there would. He would have to win the All Ireland. Heā€™s obviously shown (fake) interest. Heā€™ll let speculation ramp up and then decide to stick with the soft option where a disastrous loss in the 2020 final will somehow further enhance his reputation.

The Galway and Wexford lads donā€™t know how to play this one yet.

That was a shoddy effort there from Mike. Its early still though. Give it time.

Davy is mugging off the Galway County Board with his faux interest.

I think Davy is really worried about his carbon foot print - he has expressed guilt and regrets to a number of individuals about the 6 hour commutes to Wexford ā€“ He can get the train from Sixmilebridge to Athenry daily so iā€™d be worried if I was Wexford.

Hmmm, a marginal improvement. Go for a coffee and swing again.

+1. Itā€™s a tricky situation and we need to get it right.

I know how to play it. I hope he stays below in wexford. Weā€™ll shove it up his bollox then next year.

Clare managers never work for Galway at senior level.

Havenā€™t worked for wexford either.

Iā€™m predicting serious row backs in a few weeks either way.

The Galway crowd wouldnā€™t have the work ethic.

Jim Bolger knew all alongā€¦

If he stays/joins - fantastic news, heā€™s just what we need.

If stays/leaves for the other crowd - good riddance and bullet dodged.

Davy is going to mug off one side either way.

I was listening to Kieran Cunningham on otb last night, he said the Wexford players have already made their trip to sixmilebridge a few weeks ago but Davy is going to leave. Whether he goes to Galway is another issue but KC seems to believe itā€™s a runner due to info passed to him

A common misconception. We just make it look effortless.

I hope heā€™s evolved from hit it up to joe for Galwayā€™s sake

your leinster campaign this year was certainly effortless
