This is a God send for Davy. If he were to ditch Wexford for Galway thereād be unreal pressure on him, so there would. He would have to win the All Ireland. Heās obviously shown (fake) interest. Heāll let speculation ramp up and then decide to stick with the soft option where a disastrous loss in the 2020 final will somehow further enhance his reputation.

I think Davy is really worried about his carbon foot print - he has expressed guilt and regrets to a number of individuals about the 6 hour commutes to Wexford ā He can get the train from Sixmilebridge to Athenry daily so iād be worried if I was Wexford.

Havenāt worked for wexford either.
Iām predicting serious row backs in a few weeks either way.

I was listening to Kieran Cunningham on otb last night, he said the Wexford players have already made their trip to sixmilebridge a few weeks ago but Davy is going to leave. Whether he goes to Galway is another issue but KC seems to believe itās a runner due to info passed to him
