Thatâs my recollection. Cahalane had been going around like a wrecking ball for the previous ten minutes or so and Davis paid the price for a harmless enough shot.
Never heard about him burying a child until today. Lord help him that must have been tough.

Cahalane played the way he did in every game, youâd go into battle with him because you know heâd give 100%, I played senior league games against him, marked him a couple of times and heâd ate you without salt on a wet Wednesday night in Union hall, it was all the one, you wouldnât have swapped him.
Two good pals of mine played in the 93 minor final, very different experiences, one of them damaged his cruciate at the throw in and was really never the same again, the other was man of the match
