Score?
I think heās been arrogant tonight. Heās trying to be all clever and floaty with his passing and itās shit. Maybe itās just that clown Rodgers messing with him.
itās bad when a fella from Spuds is the only player of genuine quality on the pitch. These Danes arenāt very scary however, confident of victory here
I think weāre concentrating on Eriksen and Schone too much and weāre letting their forwards drop off and pick the ball up in that #10 position. Need Whelan to occupy that space more.
A nil all would be a great result here. Thoroughly outplayed.
Denmark arent much good
Jim Beglin is an awful stones. So is George Hamilton.
āQuite pleasedā. āEncouragingā.
i fancy us to score
While there have been plenty of errors and it isnāt exactly a vintage performance you would have to be happy with this opening half, especially after what we were subjected to away from home under the previous management.
We look to have a decent shape to us and have pressed the balm well at times but the more heartening thing for me is that for the most part the Danes havent been able to force us back deep defending out 18 yard box for long spells which was a common enough situation under OāNeill.
While we have gone long we have also looked to at least play it out and keep possession a good number of times, invariably it has broken down due to a poor touch by McClean or McGoldrick but at least our centre halves and midfield are looking to link.
Duffy has been excellent and the rest have worked hard. Barring an individual error I dont see the Danes breaking us down.
Gavin Duffy is going to have to do it all himself. Our only decent player.
Coleman is done as an attacking full back at this level
Shane Duffy
The Irish fans will suck the ball in this half
Lol. Oops
Iāll take that. Duffy has been fantastic. Their middle 5 of the two centre halves and three centre mids are all playing a far higher level than any of our players but they donāt have much on the flanks and Duffy and Keogh will beat Jorgensen all day. It seems like theyāre giving us a lot more space on the left which is a bit annoying. Our midfield is non existent in an attacking sense also
I donāt think weāre any more secure at the back than under OāNeill. Bit more energy off the ball but weāre obviously playing a higher line. But definitely more promising without the ball as a result. We wonāt own the ball away from home against opposition like this, or even away to Georgia for example, but as you say thereās more variety to our possession and we can play it around a bit quicker.
Cunts
Eddie Mcgoldrick (@anon32894817) off in 10 minutes if nothing sticks. Very hard to play away from home with no platform to keep the ball up there.
Youād miss dunphy and Giles all the same
I didnāt realise Whelan was playing until that 27th minute and that collision. As for mcclean, worst player Iāve ever seen playing for Ireland.
