Did anyone hear that

Yeah I expect it to come down a bit but no way will it go below 3 months.

Yeah it will be halved on appealā€¦in fairness 6 months is incredibly harsh

Jesus, did think heā€™d get that long. Although I suppose 6 months is pretty much the same as 3 months when it boils down to it. Would be back in time for the All Ireland if he got 3 months? If not then it doesnā€™t really matter how long he gets and 6 months sets a stronger example.

No one went with that over on the predictions

Unless this is overturned Heā€™s Finished.

Heā€™ll never recover after a sentance like that from a 1.14 - 5 game.
Death Row for a Captain going for what was an easy 3 in a row.

Wouldnā€™t say itā€™s pretty much the same at all.
If Kerry do win the AI Final, and he only got 3 months-Galvin would be back to play in it, receive the cup as captain of the 3 in a row and collect his medal. Any longer and he couldnā€™t do any of the above.

Ya thatā€™s what I was wondering. Obviously itā€™s not the same thing if he misses the AI final.

Galvinā€™s 6 month suspension has been upheld by the Central Hearings Committee.

Off to the Central Appeals Committee now methinks
