Disgraceful Scenes in Cork

You must have met this fella in real life

Cork people are sound

They have a rough element like everywhere else

But itā€™s a smashing city

Cork wit is unmatched in the free state

Only occupied wee sixers can match it on the island

Thatā€™s northsidersā€¦ And itā€™s not whiney reallyā€¦ They sing at you. South side is where itā€™s at kid. Iā€™ll mind you.

Up to the judge to rule if its inadmissable or not. I think in the incident above where itā€™s so open and shut, not to mention a murder he would be obliged to Iā€™d imagine.
I did jury duty once, a car theft and subsequent attempted sale of the stolen goods, and the judge ended up throwing the case out as he ruled the video evidence recorded by phone to be inadmissable, the prosecution had nothing else really and the case collapsed. There were 2 in the dock and the first, a right looking scumbag had made already made a deal before the case collapsed, the 2nd, a foxy as fuck young wan, got off scot free :grinning:

Any evidence on Grapeā€™s claim that the attacker in that video was a foreigner? Was he black or what?

What does it matter what race he was?

Many black Irish people, fair point. I was just curious if the board had been the victim of some horrible racist posting or what.

The racists on here have a right to know. There not quite certain yet exactly how outraged they are supposed to be

Maybe heā€™s from a ā€˜good familyā€™ so might get off with a token donation to charity

I drew a lovely kick into a fellas ribs one night beyond in Lisdoon. Twas a sneaky kick but I saw what the cunt did 5 minutes earlier. I am still very proud of that kick.

When I was a young man, I was quite angry. Throw drink into the mix, and it would not take too much for the red mist to descend. When that happened, I was capable of anything. I never assaulted anyone like what happened above, but if the right circumstances were present, I could have.

You obviously cannot condone what happened to that lad above, but I can understand how it could happen. The context, im sure will come out in time.

You sound like a lad who shouldnā€™t drink then m8

Did not take drink for red mist to descend. Im practically a non drinker now but when I did drink I was a happy drunk.

Not everyone comes a functional/happy family. My family was quite dysfuntional. I carried a lot of shame around and it would not take much for me no lose my cool as a result.

Most lads/young lads who get into fights like above carry similar shame. I can empathise with both. We dont know what was said or done to trigger the above fight and whether any drink or drugs were thrown into the mix.

Iā€™m surprised lads talking about jumping in havenā€™t mentioned the consequences of someone packing a knife. Out with a mate in London before who tried to break up something and he got fresh aired with some form of a blade before we got out of there. Itā€™s just not worth it if the attacker is a nutter/well backed. Ring the cops and move.

Common sense doesnā€™t get INTERNET LIKES.
