Do you have sympathy for Cork?

Mary Coughlan and Willie O’Dea fucked that up. They had a chance to stop it and totally screwed up at the meeting that was arranged with Michael Dell.

In fact Dell stopped the meeting after about 5 mins and fucked them out…

Ambrose you should do a pumpkin patch as well. There is a place beside Causey that does be jammers with Dubs down paying €20 and €30 for pumpkins that you can buy in Supervalu for €3.

We compete in a global environment and will always have to be an outward looking nation. Decades of insular thinking and practice left Ireland as the problem child of Europe.

On startups, the evidence is there that Ireland is really starting to excel here. Number of companies registered is through the roof and polls show Ireland as a business friendly environment. Where Ireland falls down is in funding and that’s partly due our size but also the zombie banking system. The latter is getting better, but slowly, and it will continue to be slow with our rigid CB regulations.

I dont disagree with any of that but – How much tax will Irish start ups have to pay? — I understand we need to use everything we can to attract investment — but we also need to invest in irish / start-ups as best we can… We might disagree on a lot, but i’h be happy to have you involved in our seaweed adventure.

Whats the plan? Seaweed baths, seaweed foods seaweed fertiliser?

Seaweed fuel. It will be running the planet in no time.

Bless your optimism.

Tony Leens Podcast with Larry Tomkins is very good. Tomkins comes across as one of those obsessed weirdos which undoubtably most top sportsmen are.
