I had no intention of going over but the missus wanted to pay her respects, it was nice for the Limerick city public to get the chance to do this, she obviously meant a lot to loads of the people in there, unbelievable crowds considering the weather

While I was genuinely saddened at the death of one of our own and a singer I loved as a teen, I believe going to the funeral/reposal of somebody you don’t know to be a bit much

But we did know her, she was our Diana, the voice of a generation, it is different when some influential like that dies, people want to pay their respect, Limerick is in mourning
