Definitely not unforeseeable. I would even say likely. They are surrounded by clubs who would just swallow their territory. Craobh, Vincents, Naomh Barrog and Trinity Gaels. Their name is toxic.
Maybe they will merge with Craobh who are struggling for numbers in Donnycarney which seems to be full of old people.
u could throw in O’Tooles, St Monica’s, Inisfails as well in and around that territory
in reality a lot of those clubs are struggling - only Vincents and Barrog are really vibrant
Inisfails look to be as good as gone
Inisfails have had an influx of houses on their doorstep in the last couple of years. If they’d anything about them they’ll survive.

Trinity Gaels are thriving again. New pitches in Drumnigh surrounded by new houses. Loads of underage activity. Inisfails are a basket case.
Nothing happening there at all. No juvenile and maybe one adult team

Are Vincent’s vibrant ? Thought they were struggling underage too ?
Loads of clubs in their immediate vicinity that could eat their lunch: Vinnie’s, Raheny, O’Tooles , Craobh probably the closest
They’ll probably need to merge with someone - not a lot of available council pitches in the neighbourhood (perhaps Belcamp Park)
Hopefully the grounds aren’t sold for development. I wouldn’t ruled it out but I suppose the school will always need a pitch
Very strong at hurling underage. Less so at football.

Had a very good minor team last year, should have bet Lucan in the semi only for a last minute penalty save. Lucan bet an excellent Crokes team in the final.

Played out in there pitch last year. Decent set up. Plenty of space to expand.
I would class them as vibrant, still fielding loadsa teams even if not the force of old

yep loadsa new houses, but Trinity Gaels are a few decent pucks of the ball across the fields away and o’tooles a few pucks down the road.
Inisfails also dont do hurling so young kids will tend to go to clubs that do both codes
As far as I am aware Inisfails didnt field an adult mens team in 2024, sad when you consider they are one of the oldest GAA clubs in the country
Have significant facilities and 2 fine playing pitches which they own as I am sure you are aware Fagan

Innisfails slowly building things back up. They fielded from U8 to U11 and u13 this year and the girls section going well too. You have to start somewhere when you have nothing.
Parnells have been haemorraging underage players the last few years. Craobh will probably benefit most from underage players leaving Parnells.

good to hear
this a long way back though, not having an adult mens team is some kick in the nuts for a club that old.
They were always a good club to have a LOI soccer player playing with them or soccer players generally dabbling in a bit of gaelic football
What’s the story with Parnell’s lads? Seems mental. @myboyblue Woolie will surely give them back the few bob
What did they spunk the money on? Surely they couldn’t have burned through it all legitimately, even paying the mercenaries
The thought of a Dublin club struggling for numbers is hilarious
