I see Keelan Sexton is the latest to throw his lot in with a Dublin club while still playing inter-county. He’s left the famous KIB for Ná Fianna. A serious addition for @binkybarnes crew.

Yeah i believe he has been training with them forva couple of years. Jarlath might step in and make him join Rosmini or Starlights.
No. One class per year. 30 kids in each year
That wont work Binky as they have no teams for Sexton to play with
Starlights are no longer fielding at adult level since 2 or 3 years ago, Rosmini Gaels wont field in 2025 I was told a few weeks back
not a huge pot for Scoil to pull out of but a good link to have nonetheless

I presume some of this recent Scoil minor squad had links to the Gaelscoil at one stage, including the wonderfully named No 31.
Those aside there’s a sprinkling that hints at a degree of diversity being involved.

Yes there’d be plenty of Clontarf parents who like the idea of their children playing in a walled ground rather than running amok in St Anne’s Park.

I have some recollection of Scoil and Clontarf playing an annual match in hurling for some cup or other or am I imagining it ?

Agreed. I have no memory of Clontarf hurling in my time. Similarly for both Raheny and Barròg, both of whom are strong in recent times.
