Anyone who is OIUTF can’t have a problem with this. However, it’s disappointing they haven’t a bit of backbone and use their profile to protest the draconian measures. It smacks of pure self interest and greed on behalf of these players. A slap in the face to all the lockdown victims.

Rightly or wrongly, they have to be booted out. And the fact they were caught while others are probably at it too makes no difference.
You could make excuses if it was on a beach or in a park, but on a GAA pitch? Nah you cant have that.
It becomes a free for all for all clubs and counties up and down the country otherwise.
Ah it has to be an April fool. They never sensationalise gaa things up like that usually

A pretty silly decision from Dessie to run with this all the same. Minimal gains to be had for such a huge risk. He’s probably looking at a suspension as well as an avalanche of criticism.

If they were running down Dollymount Strand or in the Pheonix Park it wouldnt look as bad but going up to Inisfallis, their training base under the cover of darkness is a dreadful look.
