I am heading down to Dublin tomorrow for the day. Do you think the pubs would let my 13 year old son in? Or can you think of any child friendly establishments. Cheers.
Isn’t it the law that an under 18 can’t be in a pub after 8 pm.
Would any Dublin natives/residents have any helpful specifics on this front?

Im in Pipers corner on Marlborough st now with the clan including our 10 year old. No bother at all. Nice bit of live trad on in the corner.
Most pubs will be fine until 8 or so.

I said same thing to Stephen myself. My sense of how things will be in public houses from lunchtime to late evening chimes with what you say and comment below.

I think you are correct – but not 100%.
He does. He is very much a pub person. His son likes going to Dublin.
If he’s getting the train down from Belfast he can’t walk by Clearys across from Connolly without stopping for one. Top 5 best pints in Dublin I would say.
