Theres fuck all that can be done in these parts. Law onto themselves

Angela Merkel should send in the German Army . This is an act of aggression on German interests .

They’d do far better than our own crowd. All we’re good for is fixing potholes. We deserve to be ruled. We’re not fit for purpose.

one of the headlines in BBC news this morning, I’m fucking mortified and outraged with the anger, “Lidl in Eire looted and destroyed”

I can understand your anger - working so long in the UK and still their national broadcaster insist on using “Éire” instead of “Ireland”

New Mexico

Suprise suprise
An awful lot of those very strange people who are usually expressing outrage on social media are today focussing their emotion and expressing their outrage at the use of the word scumbag to refer to those scumbags who destroyed parts of Dublin last night.

There’s a “new” Mexico?

From the Indo.

Plenty of suspended sentences incoming.

Eight men are expected to be charged in connection with alleged looting incidents in Tallaght, west Dublin last night and will appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice this morning.

The eight men are aged between 24 and 47 and are expected to be charged with various offences including theft, burglary and trespassing.

Another man in his 30s has been arrested for handling stolen property and is currently being detained.

Reinforcements from across the capital were called in as gardai tried to maintain order outside a Lidl supermarket at Fortunestown Lane in Tallaght.

The incident began shortly before 5pm when gardai at Tallaght station received reports of looting at the supermarket.

A uniformed patrol in a jeep was sent to the scene but had difficulty accessing the location because of heavy snow drifts.

One of the patrols also intercepted a separate incident at a Centra store in Jobstown, near the Blessington Road.

Gardai have confirmed that substantial damage was caused to both premises.

Lidl released the following statement: "We are aware of the very serious incident at our Fortunestown Lane store this evening.

“Given that the incident is now the subject of a criminal investigation we are not in a position to comment further at this time.”

Armed gardaí are patrolling the Tallaght area in a six-wheel drive military vehicle this morning following the incidents.
