Always a bit wary when these drubbings are handed out that the next time the teams play Dundee will be absolutely rabid and wring out a backs to the wall draw or even a poxy win.
Leicester bet Southampton 9-0 a few years ago and Southampton were like men possessed in the return fixture and ground out a win.
I have a vague memory of Rangers pummelling someone (possibly Dunfermline) 8 or 9 zip the year Celtic denied them the 10 in a row. The vanquished side returned to take points off Rangers later that season which was was a big boost to Celtic at the time.

It’s the same in pretty much every league now. England, France, Germany etc. Ireland could go that way. Spain and Italy are ok for now but have had Juventus and the big two in Spain hammering teams in a weekly basis in recent years.
The super league might have saved domestic leagues. As greedy as the concept was, money has already distorted everything beyond repair.

It’s hard alright to spin it any other way when you have a 0-9 away win at the side that finished 4th last season (admittedly a mere 45 points behind the champions). You’d have to think for the 39th successive season Glasgow Celtic or Glasgow Rangers will be champions in the ulra-competitive League of Scotland.
I know Dundee Utd have stopped playing for the manager, and were lucky not to be beaten by more by St Mirren, but at least the St Mirren game was reasonably competitive. The 9-0 Liverpool game was at anfield. Getting beaten 9-0 at home is a bit depressing for the SPL, which has often thrown up some unexpectedly close games albeit with largely predictable results.
