We’re giving away too many set piece chances lately.
In fairness, any team getting beaten 2 nil by celtic after twenty minutes, given their European exploits in recent times, wouldn’t be where I’d be scouting a centre back.
I know it’d be difficult for any young SPFL defender to get into the invincible champions’ side, especially given the European exploits you reference in us being the only 4th seeded CL club to qualify for European football after Christmas.
But Celtic will always scout the domestic league market to replenish the squad with young players who have the potential to develop and contribute in time.
Hendry hasn’t been impressive today but I think Neil McCann’s tactics in playing 2 strikers and allowing Celtic an extra man in midfield really didn’t help his team. Celtic have knocked the ball around them and exploited the spaces very well.
It wasn’t 0-2 until shortly before half time by the way. Celtic need to see this out properly now as some sloppiness is creeping in.

I’m reading unconfirmed reports that it’s not fractured. A bad dunt and severe bruising but he’ll be back after the winter break.
Unfortunately my sources were correct. Fractured leg. Needs surgery and season over.
