Morning lads
Risky business on a breezy night. No better way to put away a morning than traipsing around the estate picking empty craft IPA cans out of the neighbours hedges.
The wall the bins are up against usually blocks any breeze/wind. Plus they are out on the street so if something was to go wrong, the street sweeper that passes by most mornings would pick it up.
You must have savage peace of mind with that set up.
I sleep well at night. That is until our youngest wakes at 5/5:30am and I have to get up.
You know you are old when the highlight of your week/fortnight is putting the bins out.
I go for a run Tuesday evening then put them out once I’m done. You could say it’s a little tradition of mine.
For any lad over 40 December is largely about going into Christmas week with empty bins.
I’ve been bringing out and in the bins of an elderly neighbour for the past 3 years or so. I don’t feel the guilt as much when I pack their bins with our surplus recycling on days like Christmas, birthdays etc.
The weekend waits for no man (or woman I suppose).
It’s fresh out.
Its Parkrun day, I am very excited.
Ahoy there lads
Reformer Pilates at 8am.
Kids GAA at 11am.
What a time to be alive.
WE
GO
AGAIN
Just getting the breakfast now.
Awake and up. I’ll start early so.
There is no work in the bed.
Time to get serious
